History

RepowerLab started as a spin-off of Repowering Solutions, with over 15 years of experience in wind turbine dismantling and recycling. We now operate globally, executing projects in 20 countries through three international offices.

Alfonso Alvaro

Co-Founder & Managing Director of EU

Based in Madrid, Spain, Alfonso brings over 25 years of experience in logistics, wind farm repowering, and renewable energy project development. His achievements include overseeing the decommissioning of over 300 wind turbines in Europe. Alfonso has led the development of numerous renewable onshore and offshore wind farms.

Fernando Garces

Co-Founder & Managing Director of LATAM

Based in Cali, Colombia, Fernando brings over 40 years of experience in business planning, management, and renewable energy development. As a co-founder of several ventures, he has successfully promoted the development and execution of over 4 GW of renewable energy projects across Latin America.

Victoria Galeano

Co-Founder & Managing Director of US

Based in Virginia, US, Victoria has over 20 years of expertise in sustainable finance. She has co-founded several impact ventures and has driven investments toward the development of numerous ESG projects. Recognized among DC's Top 50 Women Leaders, she advises investors on renewable energy projects.

Iván David Rojas

Business Development Manager

A seasoned business and project developer in the renewable energy sector, Iván has contributed to the successful development of over 1.5 GW. Moreover, Iván brings a vast experience within the wind energy industry, from the design of wind turbines, support structures and wind farms to the business development and project management of large-scale wind power in Latin America.
